Scope
These terms govern use of the software tools operated by MOKAN Accounting Services ("the Firm") in connection with professional accounting and bookkeeping services, including the Firm's QuickBooks Online integration.
Permitted use
The Firm's software tools are for the Firm's internal use in delivering engaged professional services. They are not licensed, sold, sublicensed, or otherwise made available to clients or third parties.
Relationship to the engagement agreement
These terms supplement, and do not replace, the written engagement agreement between the Firm and each client. Where the two conflict, the engagement agreement governs.
Client authorization
Access to a client's QuickBooks Online company file is granted by that client through Intuit's authorization process and may be revoked by the client at any time. The Firm does not access any company file it has not been authorized to access.
Accuracy and review
Entries prepared or posted through the Firm's tools, including those prepared with the assistance of artificial intelligence, are subject to the same professional review as work performed manually. Clients remain responsible for reviewing their financial records and for the representations made in them.
No warranty
The Firm's internal software tools are provided in connection with professional services and carry no separate warranty. Nothing in these terms limits the Firm's professional obligations to its clients.
Changes
The Firm may update these terms. Material changes affecting client data handling will be communicated to affected clients.
